  • Collective Bargaining Agreements are used to determine work hours
  • Work contracts can be written or verbal
  • Minimum wage is ZW2549 per month, but does not apply to domestic and agricultural workers who have different minimum wages
  • Income tax is withheld from employee pay on a monthly basis using a Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE) schedule
  • Social security contributions are withheld from employee pay and must be submitted monthly to the National Social Security Authority
  • Employers must also contribute to social security
