French Employment Law Changes

The French government introduced new changes to employment laws. They also declared a State of Health Emergency and released a labor law update in March to protect employees and employers during the continuing COVID-19 crisis.

Some of the changes include new flat tax rates, a Macron bonus extension, social declaration error and surcharge changes, and COVID emergency protocols. LEARN MORE

UK Job Retention and SSP Rebate Programs
The UK government has created several programs to help businesses cope with the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. They announced the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme in March, with more than 7 million workers using the program to replace lost income due to business closures. There are changes to the scheme coming in August allowing workers to return to their jobs on a part-time basis and still receive benefits. READ MORE
