Job Description

The Client Services Technical Analyst is responsible for assisting the development and delivery of data integrations with Blue Marble In-Country Providers (ICPs). The Client Services Technical Analyst is a member of the Technical Services team, working under the supervision of the Technical Services Manager. Assist on the administration of back-end requirements related to client data and work directly with Client Support Team to provide Tier 2 technical support. Regular interactions with ICPs, as well as Blue Marble development team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor, track and resolve data file failures and system issues
  • Provide system feedback including; bugs, defects, requirements and enhancements to the development team
  • Provide Second-Level Technical Support (T2) for Client-reported system issues
  • Assist in the implantation and direct data integrations with Blue Marble network of ICPs throughout the globe
  • Maintain data field requirements for files delivered to Blue Marble and for exports to ICPs
  • Maintains Secure Transfer Protocol between Blue Marble and In-Country Providers
  • Maintain system configuration for In-Country Providers and entities on the Blue Marble platform
  • Create and maintain stored procedures and reports for data exports to ICPs, and communicate results with different stakeholders
  • Assist Tech Services Manager with the issue resolution and communication between Blue Marble and In-Country Providers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or other similar discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience with databases, SQL, Web Applications, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with different types of data files, including Excel, .csv and xml. Familiarity with Linux a plus
  • Work with project-defined timelines and meet deadlines
  • Pro-active approach to problem solving, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Customer-focused with a service-orientated approach. Previous help-desk/tech support experience encouraged
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to adapt communication style to variety of stakeholders including those whose first language is not English
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
